About Steve Bloom

Steve Bloom was born in South Africa in the 1970’s and is a photographer who specialises in spectacular images of the natural world. Steve moved to England in 1977, where he worked in the graphic arts industry for many years. During a visit back to his homeland, his interest in wildlife photography emerged, and within a short time he had swapped his career to become a wildlife photographer.

Steve has won many awards for his work and his images have been displayed all over the world in calendars, posters, advertising, editorial features and a multitude of other products. Professional Photographer Magazine described him as a 'photographer at the leading edge who sets the agenda for the future'.
