Buckton Cliffs stands south of the Speeton Sands which is situated north of the seaside resort of Filey in North Yorkshire. It is a very popular area with fossil hunters and geologists and at over 122 metres (400 feet), these cliffs are some of the highest on the east coast of Britain. This area is a RSPB Nature reserve is one of the best sites to watch seabirds. It is home to the only gannet colony on mainland Britain.
